In response to recent claims from a competitor that challenge the fire safe features of Vent-A-Hood’s product line, the company stands by the following:
 | Vent-A-Hood is the oldest manufacturer of residential range hoods in America and has never had a fire claim in the company’s history. |
| Vent-A-Hood routinely tests the engineering, design and performance of its products and stands by the fire safe features of its range hoods. |
| Vent-A-Hood has never simulated a grease fire test that produced results inconsistent with the company’s claims. |
| Vent-A-Hood has never intentionally misrepresented the qualities or characteristics of its products. |
| Vent-A-Hood’s training program, which is endorsed by the National Kitchen and Bath Association, regularly includes fire demonstrations for attendees at the company plant in Richardson, Texas, to demonstrate the safety of its products. |
| Vent-A-Hood will continue the regular practice and testing of its range hoods against fires and other threats to the home to ensure the highest safety of our products. |
