2004 Kitchen & Bath Show Introductions
Universal Metal Industries expanded its USA footprint by importing an
Italian line of range hoods with the Artech brand name. Par for the course
of Italian range hoods these units feature 304 stainless steel, continuous
welding, halogen lamps and 400CFM on their wall units, and 600CFM on the island
units. In our opinion these performance numbers are most certainly
accurate as President Mark Hallet is also the president of the ventilation
oversight organization HVI.
Artech is offering 6 styles in 4 sizes (30, 36, 42, 48).
