New Broan Killer
Fuji introduced a Broan-killer called the FSR. The 7" high FSR features a silicon filter, 170 CFM - 300 CFM, halogen lighting, and 30" 36' and 42" widths.

ApplianceAdvisor Welcomes A New Hood Company
A subsidiary of Fuji Industrial USA has decided that what the North America needs is just 1 more range hood company. The Fuji hoods have many of the features normal to Asian hoods, such as the always lovely clear plastic grease trays (perhaps giving the cook a feeling of accomplishment) and centrifugal fans. They also have a "Rectifier Baffle" that "pulls in smoke from every direction" and front inlets….just in case the bottom of the hood missed some smoke. All in all it seems like a nice package and an option to the Venmar hood. Fuji is looking for distributors or OEM arrangements, so the public need not apply just yet.
