High Power Burners
One or two 18,000 BTU Star Burners are added to ranges with the remaining
burners being 15,000 BTU.
New Male Menopause Edition Ranges
Garland adds a crazy 60" range, and a whacked out 72" range. Who but a
man having a mid-life crisis would buy a 72" range? Garland and La Cornue
should pretty much own the 72" range market of what; say 7 units per year?
See La Cornue for further comments from the Advisor.
New 30" Wide Indoor Grill
Though this 30" indoor grill may be a perfectly nice product, and they may
sell a bunch, don't you be one of them. Grilling is best done outside, not in a
house with expensive cabinets, and nice furniture with clean smelling
upholstery, and healthy people. Grilling inside is bad. A 30" grill is just
18" worse than the normally bad 12" unit found on many pro-style
ranges and cooktops. What part of "bad" don't you understand? For more
Advisor ranting and raving on this subject, see Thermador.
