rises up. Kind of cool, but not really exciting.

2005 Kitchen & Bath Show Introductions
After quietly growing its brand in North America, after single handedly inventing
entire product categories (built-in coffee machines) after defining the concept
of the ultra-quiet dishwasher for which all others could only hope to someday
compare themselves, Miele
finally arrives at KBIS, having snubbed the event for as long as this writer can
remember.
What Happened to Fresh Ground Coffee?
Miele is offering a 12" deep coffee system using coffee pads, a pre-ground
tea bag kind of thing. What is looses in freshness it makes up in flavor
options, convenience and by silencing the grinder....a peaceful morning.
As they are 1/2 the depth of the old Miele machine at 12", they can hang
under the cabinet, be built in to the cabinet or sit on the counter. Pads
are shipped direct to the house by Nestle. Can anyone say "Ka-ching!"

New Gas Cooktops
The Masterchef 36" features 5 sealed burners: (2) at 15.3K, 12K and
(2) at 9K BTU, while the 42" sports (2) at 9K, (2) at 12K, a 15.3 and a
16.5K. These units feature continuous grates.
