Built-in Automatic Cappuccino Machine
Sirius launches what turns out to be the first competitor for the Miele built-in coffee machine.  The unit features electronic controls, a bean grinder as well as a powder dispenser for what we assume to be instant decaf coffee.  The user need never fuss with beans or grounds except when the storage containers of both are empty or full.  The milk for foaming is automatically drawn up from the milk carton or container (that you place into the machine) through a rubber hose you jammed into the milk container, it is then foamed and dispensed in your cup.  As neat as that may sound we have a few questions about sanitation.  How does one clean the hose tubing through which the milk flows?  Sirius says cleaning will be automatic with high temperature water......but these are parts that throughout their lives will never be seen by the user.  How sanitary is it to place a hose in the same milk you will be pouring into your kid's cereal tomorrow?  The milk container, when used in this way, will be inside the machine in an un-refrigerated compartment, and how many times are you going to forget that you put it in there?  It's a beautiful machine, but we have a few SIRIUS qualms.
